Tool Tuesday EP23 – Temp Gauges

Temp Gauges are very important in the world of RC (Remote Control). Just like humans, our temperature tells you if something is wrong. With an RC Car/Truck, a higher than normal temp can tell you that you might have a problem down the line and could jeopardize one or all of your electrical components.

Here’s various Temp Gauges and some links:

The Updated OFNA Version:
www.nitrohouse.com/PE2-Infrare…

The PE-2 unit adds a much requested red sighting laser, and an expanded temperature range to 662F (easily switchable to 350C). The PE-2 has an adjustable emissivity setting for precise calibration, and perhaps best of all, a tight infrared “cone” distance to spot ratio (D:S) of 6:1. That means at a distance of 6 inches, you are reading an area just 1 inch in diameter. At a distance of 2 feet, an area of just 3 inches.
